AR Craftix Refund Policy

This AR Craftix Refund Policy explains how refund requests are considered for custom artwork, design, animation, branding, streaming graphics, and other creative projects.

Because every AR Craftix project is customized to the client’s individual requirements, refund eligibility depends on the project’s current stage and the amount of work already completed.

Our goal is to keep the project, payment, cancellation, and refund process clear, reasonable, and fair for both the client and AR Craftix.

Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility is reviewed according to the project’s current stage and the work that has already been completed.

Since custom creative projects require time, planning, design, communication, and production work, every refund request may need to be considered individually.

Refund Eligibility May Depend On:

  • The current stage of the project
  • The amount of work already completed
  • Whether creative work has already started
  • The agreed project requirements
  • The agreed project scope
  • The circumstances surrounding the refund request

A refund request does not automatically mean that a full refund will apply. The amount of work already completed and the project’s current stage will be considered before determining whether any refund is appropriate.

Upfront Payment Refund Policy

AR Craftix requires a 30% upfront payment before work begins.

This payment reserves the project and allows AR Craftix to begin reviewing the project requirements, planning the creative direction, preparing concepts, and completing other work required for the commissioned project.

Once substantial work has been completed on the project, the upfront payment may become non-refundable.

This is because the upfront payment is connected to the time, planning, creative effort, and work already invested in the commissioned project.

Completed Work and Refunds

Refund requests are not evaluated only according to the date on which a refund is requested.

The amount of creative work already completed is also an important factor.

If significant work has already been completed according to the agreed project brief, the amount eligible for refund may be reduced or a refund may no longer be applicable depending on the circumstances.

Project Work May Include:

  • Reviewing the project brief and references
  • Communicating about project requirements
  • Planning the creative direction
  • Developing artwork or design concepts
  • Creating the commissioned artwork or graphics
  • Preparing individual project elements
  • Working on animation, branding, graphics, or design elements
  • Making revisions based on client feedback
  • Preparing work for final approval

The more work that has already been completed specifically for the client, the more this may affect refund eligibility.

Custom Artwork Refunds

AR Craftix provides customized creative services rather than identical ready-made products.

Character artwork, fursona designs, digital artwork, logos, banners, emotes, streaming graphics, animations, character reference sheets, couple artwork, and other custom projects are developed according to each client’s individual requirements.

For this reason, custom artwork refunds are reviewed according to the specific project’s progress, current stage, and work already completed rather than through a one-size-fits-all refund rule.

Project Cancellation

If you wish to cancel a project, you should contact AR Craftix as soon as possible.

The project status and amount of completed work will be reviewed before determining whether any refund is applicable.

When Reviewing a Cancellation, We May Consider:

  • Whether the project has started
  • How much work has already been completed
  • The agreed project scope
  • The amount of planning or creative work already performed
  • Work already created specifically for the client
  • Whether revisions or additional work have already been completed
  • The reason and circumstances of the cancellation

Cancellation of a project does not automatically guarantee a full refund.

Cancellation Before Substantial Work

If a cancellation request is received before substantial creative work has been completed, AR Craftix may review whether a refund or partial refund is appropriate.

The decision will depend on the amount of time, planning, communication, concept development, and other work already invested in the project.

Each cancellation request may therefore be reviewed individually.

Cancellation After Substantial Work

If substantial creative work has already been completed, the upfront payment may become non-refundable.

Where additional payments have already been made, any refund consideration will depend on the amount of completed work and the individual circumstances of the project.

Custom work already created specifically for the client may be taken into account when reviewing any cancellation or refund request.

If AR Craftix Cannot Complete a Project

If AR Craftix cannot complete an agreed project, the situation will be discussed fairly with the client.

The appropriate resolution will depend on the circumstances of the project, its current stage, any payments already made, and the amount of work already completed.

Where appropriate, possible resolutions may include discussion of a refund, partial refund, alternative arrangement, or another reasonable solution depending on the circumstances.

Our intention is to communicate clearly with the client and reach a fair resolution based on the individual situation.

Revision Requests Are Different From Refund Requests

Sometimes a project may require adjustments rather than cancellation.

AR Craftix allows clients to request reasonable changes related to the original project brief during the creative process.

Revision Guidelines

  • Reasonable changes related to the original brief are allowed.
  • Clients can provide feedback during the project.
  • Adjustments can be discussed before final approval.
  • Minor corrections and refinements may be requested during the review stage.
  • Major changes to the original concept may require additional charges.
  • A completely new concept may be treated as a change in project scope.

If an issue can reasonably be resolved through revisions within the agreed project scope, we encourage clients to discuss the required changes with us before requesting cancellation.

Dissatisfaction and Refund Requests

Creative work can involve personal preferences and subjective decisions.

If a client is not completely satisfied with an aspect of the project, AR Craftix encourages the client to communicate the issue and request reasonable revisions related to the original project brief.

A request for changes that can reasonably be addressed through the agreed revision process may not automatically qualify as grounds for a refund.

Changes to the Original Project Scope

Clients should provide accurate references, requirements, and project information before work begins.

Changes that significantly alter the original project scope may affect pricing, completion time, and the work required to finish the project.

Major Scope Changes May Include:

  • Changing the original concept
  • Requesting substantially different artwork
  • Adding additional characters or subjects
  • Adding new backgrounds or scenes
  • Adding significant new requirements
  • Requesting additional graphics or project elements
  • Changing important project specifications after work has started

Such changes may require a revised quote, additional charges, or a revised delivery estimate rather than being treated as a refund issue.

Project Payment Terms

AR Craftix follows a transparent payment structure for custom projects.

Standard Payment Process

  1. 30% Upfront: The upfront payment reserves the project and allows work to begin.
  2. Project Creation: AR Craftix works on the project according to the agreed requirements.
  3. Review & Changes: The client reviews the completed work and may request reasonable changes related to the original brief.
  4. Final Approval: The client confirms approval after reviewing the completed work and agreed revisions.
  5. 70% After Approval: The remaining 70% is due after the client has reviewed and approved the completed work.
  6. Final Delivery: Final files are delivered after the remaining balance has been received.

You do not pay the final 70% until you have reviewed and approved the completed work.

This structure gives the client the opportunity to review the completed project before paying the remaining balance.

Refunds After Final Approval

Clients should carefully review the completed work before providing final approval.

Once the client has reviewed the work, requested any reasonable revisions, provided final approval, and the project has proceeded to final payment and delivery, refund requests may be limited because the commissioned work has already been completed and approved.

Any exceptional request will be reviewed according to the specific circumstances.

Final Files and Refunds

Final project files are delivered after the completed work has been approved and the remaining balance has been received.

Once completed project files have been delivered following client approval, the project will generally be considered completed.

Any issue relating to a genuine technical problem with delivered files should be reported to AR Craftix so the issue can be reviewed separately from a refund request.

Refund Review Process

If you believe your project may qualify for a refund, please contact AR Craftix and provide enough information for us to identify and review the project.

Please Include:

  • Your name
  • Your project or commission details
  • The service you ordered
  • The amount paid where relevant
  • A brief explanation of your refund request
  • Any relevant project communication or information

We will review the request based on the project’s current stage, work completed, payments made, agreed project requirements, and circumstances of the request.

How Refund Requests Are Evaluated

Refund requests may be evaluated according to the individual circumstances of each project.

Factors May Include:

  • The amount paid by the client
  • The current stage of the project
  • The amount of work already completed
  • Time already invested in the project
  • Whether custom work has already been created
  • Whether the client requested revisions or scope changes
  • Whether the completed work has already been approved
  • Whether final files have already been delivered
  • The circumstances surrounding the request

Fair Resolution of Refund Requests

AR Craftix aims to handle refund-related concerns through clear communication and a fair review of the individual project.

Because creative commissions can vary significantly in complexity, requirements, pricing, and progress, the outcome of one project should not automatically be assumed to apply to another project.

Where appropriate, AR Craftix will communicate with the client to understand the concern and determine a reasonable resolution based on the circumstances.
